Arkisys to fly Odin Space collision sensors on four more spacecraft, extending insurance coverage fleet-wide

London, UK & California, USA - August 25, 2026: Odin Space, the leading provider of end-to-end solutions for lethal, non-trackable debris, and Arkisys, a pioneer in on-orbit infrastructure and operational systems, today announced an extension of their partnership that will see the Odin Black Box, the company’s on-board “black box” for spacecraft, fly on four additional Arkisys Cutter spacecraft, making evidence-based collision insurance a standard offering for every customer it hosts in orbit.

The extended contract builds on the companies’ December 2025 agreement, under which Arkisys’s first Cutter mission, launching in 2027, will carry Odin’s collision-sensing technology, making Arkisys the first operator to offer its customers collision insurance based on verified debris impact data. By committing to that protection across its next four Cutter missions before the first has even flown, Arkisys is turning a first-of-its-kind offering into a fleet-wide standard.

A long-term commitment to customers. Arkisys’s Port Architecture is designed to host customer payloads and platforms in orbit for the long haul, and the operators who build on it need confidence that their investments are protected for the full life of their missions.
